Get Notifications Via Mailchimp
This option allows you to subscribe, via Mailchimp, to receive notifications when certain events etc are happening within the LFCC. This may be a good option if you do not regularly check the website or Facebook page to keep up to date with whats going on.
You will be prompted to enter some details via a signup form along with the notifications that you would like to receive. If you don't want to receive any particular notifications then that's ok. By subscribing and registering your email address only, we will only send out the most important notices.
The options are:
- Meetings - Dates, Time & Location etc along with any agenda that may be applicable.
- Meetings Minutes - Minutes of any meetings that you might not have been able to attend
- New Website Content - Any new articles that might be added to the website
- Financial Reports (This will be for paying members only and your request will be checked).
Update Your Preferences
There are a couple of ways to do this. If you have a previous email sent out to you from the LFCC via Mailchimp, then you can use the "Update Preferences" or "Unsubscribe" links at the bottom of the email. If you don't have a previous email then follow the steps below.
- Use the "Notifications" link on the main menu or from the link below.
- Fill in the required Email field and make sure this is the same address as you originally subscribed with. If your email address is new or different then a new subscription will be created.
- Fill in the first name, last name and club/organisation fields. Don't worry about any options at this point.
- Submit the from and follow the security prompts.
- If your email address is currently subscribed you should receive an error notice that it already exists, and the offer of a link to update your preferences should be displayed.
- Click on the link "Click here to update your preferences" and then check your emails.
- Follow the instructions contained in that email.
