Backwater - April 2021
A couple of tons of gravel were added the the entrance side of the backwater where the water was more calm. This would warm up quicker and provide some slow water for smaller fish.
Planting - Some 600 marginal plants in total, were planted around the backwater including sedges, water mint & marsh marigold.
Large leaf duckweed (lemna) has found its way into the backwater with what also appears to be Loddon Pond weed.
