Project Groundwater supports communities to be more resilient to groundwater flooding.
The six-year programme is working with communities in 9 high-risk flood areas of the Chiltern Hills and Berkshire Downs. It is led by Buckinghamshire Council in partnership with five other local authorities and Flood Community Groups. This project does not currently operate in the Loddon Catchment but there may be useful information for some.
This project is funded by Defra as part of the £200 million Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovation programme which is managed by the Environment Agency. The programmes will drive innovation in flood and coastal resilience and adaptation to a changing climate.
