Rivers Week 2015 - 16th - 20th March

Monday 16th - Practical day: Come and see how electric fishing surveys are carried out. With help from the Wild Trout Trust, we will be surveying sites on the River Whitewater.

Tuesday 17th & Thursday 19th - Practical day: Get your wellies on and spend a day (or two?!) improving your local river with help from the experts! Join us at Swallowfield on the Blackwater, we will be showcasing simple and cheap ways to work with natural processes and improve our rivers – for people and wildlife.

Friday 20th - Workshop: Visual demonstration of how flood risk can be managed using natural processes, using the EmRiver model. AM demonstartion - Dinton Pastures, PM demonstration - Swallowfield Parish Hall
