Evenlode Riverfly Monitoring Training

Become qualified as a Riverfly volunteer

Wednesday 26th April, Wychwood area

Join Tony Bostock of the Severn Rivers Trust, and members of the Evenlode Catchment Partnership, for a day’s FREE training in Riverfly Monitoring at Milton-under-Wychwood. This fascinating day will give attendees an insight into insects that can help identify when there are problems with the river. The workshop will run from 9.30am to 4pm, is free of charge and includes lunch.

The day will include short presentations and practical demonstrations by the river.  Participants will receive a guide to the method and have a chance to try it out for themselves.  Following training participants will be qualified to carry out river insect monitoring as part of the Wychwood Water Watchers, and will receive a set of monitoring equipment to take away with them. To book on the course contact Sharon (Director of the Wychwood Project)This email address is being protected from spambots.
